Scott and I were able to take a much needed vacation over Labor Day weekend. We headed out to the Windy City of Chicago for 5 fabulous days. Our vacation was full of eating, (lots of eating), sports, shopping and more sight seeing than you could possible imagine. It was honestly a great place to visit. While visiting, we managed to hit every popular and famous eating establishment in downtown Chicago, (which included Gino's Pizza where we witnessed Ashlee Simpson and Peter Wentz getting kicked out...great story), saw museums (with some questionable art....no matter how mature I try to be, some nudity is just pretty dang funny...not artistic), rode a Ferris Wheel (first time), took a scenic boat cruise at night, saw a Grand Slam in Wrigley Field Stadium, watching the Utes kick some serious trash in the Big House in Ann Arbor, sitting on the second row for Wicked....best show EVER, riding the subway for the first time (I went through an entire bottle of hand sanitizer on this trip), and did I mention SHOPPING? There was so much to see and do and oh P.S. we walked at least 150 miles while there....at least!

What a FUN trip! I have being dying to see Wicked. Everyone that goes to it LOVES it. That was a good Ute game too. You guys are such a cute couple!
It looks so fun! Seeing WICKED was the most amazing thing for me too, I am so glad you go to see it! I want to visit Chicago, AND.. I hope that I get to here your Ashlee Simpson story!
Wow! That is so awesome. I am jealous! I'm glad you were able to do so many fun things there. I think you should blog about the Ashlee Simpson story. Glad you had fun and got away!! Heidi and I are going to plan another get together soon...so I'll email you next week with the details!
Looks like you guys had a great time. I Love wicked! I was so excited to come home and tell my daughter there was someone else named Nessa Rose. Missed the Ute game, but heard it was amazing. My cousin forgot where you were sitting or would have come by to say hi. Glad you made it back safely.
