Projects

Although Scott is morally opposed to manual labor and I did not inherit my parent's love and talent of building and making things...we have attempted home projects beyond painting (not that we are very good at that either). In preparation for our new little one and as a way to keep me somewhat occupied (once again, I really don't do anything)...we have attempted to build a linen closet in our walk in laundry room (can you believe they build houses without linen closets?) and we have put wainscoting in our new nursery. When I say that "we" have done it, I haven't helped in the least, Scott has helped a little and my amazing father in law Mike has actually done 98 % of the labor. Everyday I come home to find someone has done a little something extra...Thank you! The pictures do not do the Laundry room justice...it is amazing...Just have an emotional pregnant break down one Sunday morning about where to store all the stuff that used to be in the nursery and ta dah! You will have a new laundry room/linen closet a week later! My husband is the best. The nursery is not finished...we still have to paint (I might actually help with that) but it still looks so good!

Thank you, thank you to the great men in my life who appease my crazy and emotional pregnant ideas!

It looks good! Isn't it amazing how much you can store in an empty room? haha. At least you are getting organized! Can't wait for the baby!
