Baby Help!

So, our little one is doing awesome..approximately 3 lbs. 5 oz. and is very active (doctor said "little gymnast")...so I have decided that I should start preparing for her arrival. I need any and all advice about anything anyone couldn't live without, didn't end up needing, ect. I am about to make the all important diaper bag choice. Originally, I was going to go with a Juicy Couture baby bag, however, now I am thinking I don't actually want to leave that bag at daycare so...ideas...brands...etc. would be awesome! I am not really up to speed on what is "in" for a diaper bag or really anything baby....so HELP!~I have just seven weeks left...plus, I need some things to keep me busy so time goes by more quickly!

First thing you have to get "baby Oxy Clean" only thing that helped with those exciting blow outs.
Next, I would totally go for a practical bag. Because I hated all of mine they were either too big or too small. I ended up buying not even a diaper bag and just bought an oversize bag. Let's say for me too many pockets were too much of an overload. I could never find anything!

I know I talked to you about some bags the other day, but knowing from experience and customers opions on certain bags I thought I would let you know what they are. Personally I wouldn't do a Petunia Pickle Bottom bag I know that they are very cute but I wouldn't buy one because you can only dry clean them and it usually costs around $60 each time. They do have a new style that is more like mine that you should look at. I bet it is easier to clean. I think you should look at Ju Ju Be because you can throw them in the washing machine as much as you need to. They have many other awesome features and a lot of different sizes and colors to pick from. I also like Fleurville bags as well. :) Anyway, lets try and get together soon.

Okey dokey, so I'm no expirenced mother or anything but I found that bag I was trying to tell you about.

It is a Petunia Pickle Bottom, the Cake line. I really like the the blue/yellow one! But, it is expensive. And spending $60 on dry cleaning doesn't sound reasonable!

Good luck girl!

I have no advise for bags. I just bought one I liked and it works fine. As for other stuff, I love the diaper genie and he is starting to like his swing and bouncer which is awesome so I can put him down when he is sleeping. They really dont need too many newborn outfits. We are at week 5 and he has outgrown most of it. I will help any way I can! If you have more specific questions on what was nice to have (at least in my opinion) you can email or text and I will give you my thoughts : ) I can't wait until she is here!

I'm Scott's cousin Lynne and I saw your site through Stacey's...you may want to check out Pink Lemonade Boutique Bags -- her bags double as simple diaper bags and are really cute but simple (ideal for leaving at a Daycare). Check her out at:

OK, I have had two and have had two bags. Blake's was a laminated bag and it fell apart way too fast! I picked out a Vera Bradley bag for Kenzie and I love it! You can take out the very bottom support and throw it in the washing machine! Several of my friends have had Petunia Picklebottom bags and they have all fallen apart! I have a really nice blanket from them and LOVE it! I also have some blankets that you use to swaddle and I will find out the name and let you know. They are the best! I received one as a gift and went and bought more! Also, make sure you try and carry the infant car seat before you buy it. I didn't with Blake bc I didn't know too and I went with the cutest one which was Eddie Bauer and I found out the hard way that it was SO heavy! I ended up buying a new one with Kenzie bc it was too hard to carry! And Eddie Bauer doesn't work with any other brand so keep that in mind! I learned all that the hard way! Call me if you need anything else! Love and Miss you tons!
